Thermark Marking
Today
ISO9000, together with other international manufacturing standards and
leading industry groups, are beginning to mandate permanent part
identification and Direct Part Marking (DPM) for traceability purposes.
The product identification must be permanently marked directly on the
part surface. There are numerous ways to mark an identification number
onto a product. One of the cleanest and most effective methods is the
Thermark process.
Our
thermal bonding process (Thermark) utilizes marking materials, or
“inks,” available in various forms, which are applied to surfaces to be
marked. The ink is then selectively fused – using patented laser
marking technology - to the surface with a regular industrial marking
laser. Finally, any excess ink is easily cleaned from the surface. The
inks are scientifically formulated to make a permanent, chemical bond
to surfaces, without compromising or damaging the material being marked. Regardless of the application, the end result is a durable, high-contrast, high-resolution mark.Call Us Now To Discuss Your Application.
